At the start of noon, Chico State Students attend a rally in protest of the
Vietnam War. In the same free speech area, starting after 10 am, the first “liberation”
classes were held, including “Radical Economy,” taught by Tom Parsons, assistant
professor of economics, and “Radical Poetry,” taught by student Kevin Campbell and
